Grassy space in front of a gymnasium. Very muddy in rainy season, but could sped one night with our 21 feet rig.
No amenities, but quiet for a night. The only place to stay in Mongui.
Petit terrain en herbe devant une salle de basket . une petite partie plate.
Une nuit passée ici sans soucis. Je pense que c'est public, sans certitude.
Gros camping car ok.

We asked the police and they sent us to this spot. Still a good place to spend the night for free.
Report Check-InGood place to stay overnight and hike the paramo de ocetal. Quiet at night only some movement in the evening with soccer practice. Safe and free space to sleep! When we where there it wasn’t muddy at all.
Report Check-InStill a good place to park and see town. The building was locked (no access to bathroom) when we were here except for the evening when some young adults played soccer inside. Seems safe, and was quiet overnight. Also did not see the before-mentioned water anywhere, as there is no 'parking lot'.

Report Check-Inwe slept 4 nights here, really calm. There are bathrooms in the coliseum and showers (cold) it is open from monday to saturday. Safe place. We went to other ioverlander spots and this one is the best near town.

The coliseum is now finished, but the place to park is still available, it is close to a restaurant and bar but the level music is low, and it is safe and quite. Also, water is available in the parking lot. We stayed there two nights and everything was perfect.
Report Check-InThe area is now isolated and people are working in the construction of the building. We managed to find a very small spot outside the isolation and spend the night. Felt safe and quit.
Report Check-Instill a good place to stay overnight. btw the tourist office is at the main plaza at the municipalidad and they even now the area up to lake tota.
Report Check-InVery nice spot walking distance into town. Very cute with lots of hiking options available. Got a free route of a soccer ball factory just by walking in the door. Very interesting.
Report Check-InFree grassy area near the basketball building, hospital said no. flat spots were difficult to find, none near the church. We camped here before our hike of the Paramo. If we had a4x4 the site next to the trail head looked great for camping, too steep for our little sprinter... Mongui was magic, stayed two days, although the soccer ball factory really doesn't fit the vibe, but truly lovely town.
Report Check-Instay one night here. quiet and safe. ok for big rv.near beautiful village. no facilities
Report Check-InLittle grass field, looks like a parking lot for the old basketball building behind.
I stayed one night here, a part is flat.
For me it's a plublic place, not sure.
Ok for big RV. No facilities.
Petit terrain en herbe devant une salle de basket inachevée. une partie plate.
