This place is super cool. A lot of spaces for camping. Spots are mostly private. Very wooded area so we couldn’t use our starlink but they have wifi and phone service is decent there. Everyone is very nice and we felt very safe there. We paid $33 on a Friday. We did a same day reservation, they had a few spots open which was nice. We had two dogs with us who loved the campsite. Also- found that we kept finding ticks on us and our dog which is expected when you’re in the woods but it was quite a lot of them so I would bring tick repellent for your animals and yourself before visiting. They have hook ups and primitive camping sites. Hosts were super awesome.

Pros
Big sites with some privacy
Close to the springs which are amazing
Showers
Cons
Lots of noise, dogs running around off leash barking at people, shoeless kids chasing dogs through our campsite screaming randomly. 80’s game room not clean, plus pinball machine takes your money and the right flippers didn’t even work, plus, bought a 6 dollar bundle of wood that didn’t burn probably because it was chopped yesterday. If you want to stay close to the springs, yes, otherwise I’d stay somewhere else next time.

This place is straight out of an 80s movie - complete with old school arcade and that creepy Scooby Doo feeling like you’ve bumped into a mystery. Sites are private and densely wooded, showers are rustic, people are friendly and WiFi is decent. Check it out if you want a real Florida feel- not bad for $16/ night!

Nice and natural private campground in the forest very close to the north entrance of Itchetucknee Springs State Park. The Campground appears more like a Forest Campground than a privately owned one. The sites are big and you have a good distance to your neighbor. Rate: $ 16
