Description

The hostel is near the DIJ, so perfect for the shipping actitities.
The parkinglot can hold 2-3 vans; our 21 ft rig fits but I woudn‘t go for a bigger one. 15 $ per Camper with shower, bathroom and wifi, $10 extra for shoreline.

The price was 15 dollars and 10 dollars for electricity. We were parked with cars. The beautiful garden with kitchen and also the access to the toilet and shower was locked at 5 p.m. with a chain and lock. In the morning we had to ask to open it. The woman at the reception is very unfriendly and reacts quite aggressively. So from 5 p.m. you have to ring the bell and so you go through the reception to the toilet, etc. So not at all camper friendly. And also quite loud because it is right on the street for those who are sensitive to noise.

We went here to prepare our shipping and, as the weather was very hot, we rented a room. 33$ with bathroom, A/C and parking seemed to us a good plan regarding the 20$ to park only. Big kitchen with shared fridge could be an option if you'd like to clean yours. Many tables if you want to work/teach. And friendly staff.

We wanted to camp here before the DIJ. They wanted 20usd to camp and 30usd with electricity, for two people. Didnt had a good feeling in this neigbourhood. We went behind the Radisson instead.

Great location, close to DJI, small stores nearby and easy walk to Amador causeway. Allowed us to park our camper ( it fit 3 rigs easily ), $15 per vehicle but charged me $5 more for power. Great facilities, kitchen, wifi, shower (cold ) and helpful staff - Philippe speaks great English . Would stay again. Bus to town is close by

Cons:
10$ would be ok , 15$ not worth it.
I thought that ringing the bell every time to go inside wouldn’t bother me. It did . A lot. Sometimes they are not at the front desk so you have to wait at the door. I didn’t get the thing about the bell. Maybe about safety ???
Pretty noisy at night. Parking lot is close to the road and it crazy. I’ve slept in much less noisy gas stations. I slept only a couple hours.
Pros:
Location is very good. Close to everything .
Bathrooms and “the shower” are just ok.
Big kitchen and cheap laundry. A lot of place to hang around. Staff very friendly.

Spent 4 nights here.
Great option in the city.
10$/night + 10$ if you you need to refill water or use electricity.
There is one shower, a little pool, an open kitchen area, WiFi and toilets.

Breakfast is 5$/p (our kids 3 and 5 yo) didn’t pay, but we just took it once, the first morning because it didn’t worth it.

PRICE UPDATE (on june 27th), we came back for 3 more nights, and just to let you know the price increased to 15$/night (whatever the véhicule, we do have a roof top tent).

Good place to stay a few days. Still 10$ for two in one car. Clean facilities, friendly people, laundry diy, the only downside ist that you have to ring every time you want to go inside. But I think it is still the best option you have in Panama City.

Only small area for campers, maybe 3 vehicles. Good option for camping in the city. 10 $ for 2 persons including the car. Pretty noisy during the night because of the streets near by.

Noisy but location is good. Place is clean (kitchen, bathroom and shower) and the stuff is friendly. $10 per truck camper and 2 people.

Hostel with numerous communal areas. Kitchen. Wash sink. Laundry. Bathroom. Shower. But....if you are parked in “camping area” you must ring bell to pass into these areas. Feels intrusive. Good WiFi even in parking area. Paid $10 per night no electric and $10 if wanted to plug in with long extension cord. Located near a rather noisy intersection. Terrific children’s playground adjoining.

Stayed here while getting the van shipped. Avenida Amador is extremely noisy with traffic, earplugs helped me to sleep.
