Seems very closed

This beach is now private property. Theres a big door in fron and we asked the owner if we could camp there and they said no. So its closed.

Report Check-In

Place is still open even though there is a big „private - for sale“ sign at the entrance. The big gate at the turnoff is normally open because there is a working camp of Pemex inside. A family lives in the house, but there are only few guests, even on weekends, so everything is little to not maintained. The place is a huge flat and level parking area, next to the beach. Some coco trees, no shade. 4 bars cell signal.
Entrance fee for day use is 100 p per car, overnight parking is 200 p per car.
The beach is wide, so you first walk around 200 meters before jumping in the water.

A note regarding finding the place: It is not possible to get there directly from the „Libramento Dos Bocas“. You have to use the „Carretera al Limón“.

Spent the night on this beautiful stretch of beach. A little away from the village. We had the whole parking and beach for ourselves. We got there at night (around 10 pm) and when we did, the guard or guy living there came to welcome us and take his 200 pesos. I didn’t try to argue the price. The place is well worth it and if it’s gonna help him feed his family and dogs then why not. He gave us a bucket of warm water to shower. We didn’t pay for it. There’s showers and restroom. They’re fairly clean. View in the morning was breathtaking. It was very quiet during our stay.

This place has definitely seen better days! Wanted 400pesos(because apparently they close the gate and it’s secure) at first but brought it down to 200. Bathrooms and outdoor shower free. Indoor shower is 15pesos. Beach isn’t crazy cute but nice enough to walk on and dip your toes in the ocean. Few strays around that looked in very bad shape so I didn’t let my dog run around free. It’s good enough for a night, if you don’t want to sleep at a pemex.
