NO MASTERCARD ACCEPTED! ONLY VISA OR CASH! There is weak wifi available here.

Report Check-In

We were at the gate about 3 hours before closing time. Most busses were gone. Take into account that until you reach the glacier there is still a 30-45 drive from here on a windy road.

Payment by card possible but they must swipe it or enter the numbers on it. They don't have a chip reader or contactless payments. WiFi at the entry. No trash bins or recycling within the park.

Report Check-In

Entrance to park. Opens 8am. You can arrive early but no toilets. Toilets are a further 3km into park. Parking is a bit random! They sell tickets in office at 8am, people just form a queue. Quick once open.
It is worth getting in before tourist buses arrive.
After 30km you get to Glacier. Two parking options. Main reception is first one you get to on right. Park car and walk about 1km on good walkeay above lake and the glacier slowly comes into view. Then get shuttle bus back. Or if in rush, drive all wall to end of road, near glacier but smaller car park.
Allow minimum of one hour to stare at glacier with your mouth open!!

12.000pp for foreigners also children under 5 years free. You can get the next day for half price. Go to the parking on the right down for big rigs. Take free bus to get up and going all down to glacier and the lake. About 5km.

Report Check-In

12,000 ARS for international visitors today...

Report Check-In

As of today entrance is 10,000 Ar$ per person and because of winter season you need either chains or studded tires, "regular" winter tire are not enough
No pets allowed (as said below they ask but don't check)

Report Check-In

No dogs allowed. The rangers and cashiers will walk up to your window to collect the entrance fee. If they see or hear a dog you will be refused entry. If they do not see or hear a dog, you can probably get in. But you are violating the law. No dogs allowed.

Report Check-In

foreigners still 2520$
hours : 8:00 AM 6:00PM por entrance
until 8:00PM for exit in verano

Report Check-In

now it's around 2500 Argentina pesos for foreigners. but if you get your cash with Western Union, this is only 11€ and totally worth it

Report Check-In

New price for foreigners : 2520$
Locals pay 610$

Report Check-In

The entrance fee for foreigners is 2520 pesos per person for one day. A bit steep but more affordable with the blue dollar (be sure you read about this before you pass the Western Union in town). We arrived 7:45 and the counter was already open. There were already more people. So it would be worth it to be early.

Enjoy!

Now it's 1800 pesos each! 8am to 6pm in verano.
// 1800 pesos por persona.

Report Check-In

One day ticket ARS 800 pp, two consecutive days ARS 1200 pp (in case you do a glacier cruise the next day)
Definitely very touristy but still worth to see and hear the glacier, even if you‘ve been to Alaska ;-) Tryto be here at 8am in the morning so you have 2 hours until the big groups arrive...

Report Check-In

second day entry is 400 (half price) not free

Report Check-In

It's a bit pricy for what it offers. If you are coming from Alaska, you probably saw dozens of glaciers from a lot closer than that, many of them for free, but it's still nice to see if you can afford it. Hearing it crack and seeing huge chunks of ice fall in the water is definitely cool!

Report Check-In

They didn't ask us for snow chains but it was really sunny. I guess if the weather is worse, you actually might need the snow chains since even today, there was some ice and snow on the road...

Report Check-In

We paid 800pp and credit and debit card were accepted. It’s winter but no one mentioned chains. Don’t know if it’s because we are on a 4x4, but we entered without any problems! :)

Report Check-In

Entry still 800 pesos per person (even in low season). Carrying snow chains compulsory at this time of year (they will ask even if you have a 4X4)- we’re driving a Nissan Pathfinder. Lot of black ice on the road so be careful if you’re here in winter!

Report Check-In

Entrance fee has gone up again, 800 pp now. Also be aware if you come here in the winter that it is mandatory to have chains for your tires. If you don’t have them they won’t let you in, and in our case it was Sunday so we couldn’t buy any in El Calafate til the next day.

Report Check-In

They didn't accept cards today, so don't count on it.

Report Check-In

Entrance fee 700ap. Credit cards acepted. (Visa Mastercard)

Report Check-In

Don‘t miss it. This glacier is amazing! 700ARS per Person and possible to pay with credit card. Try to go left at the crossing in the park. Just don’t look at the park ranger and pass:-) You are then next to all hiking starts.

Report Check-In

It's 700p now. Effective from 1st December 2018.

Report Check-In

700p per person now... but still beautiful !

Report Check-In

you could definitely put someone under a blanket in the back if you find the fee a bit much.

Report Check-In

The portalmitre Wi-Fi password at the entrance: [Password removed by Moderator.] Nice and fast

Report Check-In

Friendly guy at the entrance. Opening in low season is at 9:00am.

Report Check-In

new prices (although it's low season):
600 ARS for foreigners now.
ridiculously beautiful. ridiculously overpriced.
once in the park they never checked my ticket again. not even while leaving. they also never checked how many passengers were actually in the car.
just saying ;)

Report Check-In

Entrance fee for foreigners 500 ARS per person. Opening hours 8:00 to 19:00 or 20:00 depending on the time of year.

The different walkways and balconies at the end of the road allow fantastic views on the Perito Moreno Glacier. Moreover, even listening to glacier, to all the cracking and thundering, is fascinating. A visit is mandatory if you are in the region!

Report Check-In

in low season definitely possible to smuggle people in.
girlfriend was still sleeping in the back when driving in. if I wouldn't have said she was there I would have only paid once. nobody checked our tickets again after buying them

Report Check-In
