15min walk to the waterfall
If you want to go down the river without paying just pass the waterfall viewpoint and to your right you will see a pathway going down. Check the pictures I uploaded. There is a sign in front of the pathway with the number “22200”.
To go to the waterfall you have to walk a bit further , use the bridge and call the owner of the private land. It’s open 9-17h you’ll probably have to pay him some money

Stayed here for 2 nights. Nice (many possible) places with shade under the trees. Loads of annoying flies during the day.

Large grassy expanse surrounded by trees and mountain ridges. Probably the most beautiful place we stayed at during our roadtrip. Despite the openness it still feels private and secluded. In the morning we were woken by horses. There’s a canyon next to the field without access to the water. We recommend it. 10/10.

Very big place.
Quiet.
Some other vehicles and tents but you can stay far from each other.
Some locals came to check their horses without bothering us.

Perfect place to camp ! The road to access is a little bit difficult.
We stayed two nights, we were with two others cars. You can hear the sound of the river. You can go by step to the waterfall « Velo de la Novia ». 100% recommanded !

What a pearl! After visiting the park, with the small road and busy places, it’s nice to find this wildcamp easy to access but feeling so remote! We stayed the afternoon and the whole next day till 3:30pm. The afternoon two cars visited the field to look at the gorge anda glimpse of rio Claro but the whole Monday we didn’t see anyone! Definitely recommend this place, although it is a bit dusty.

Nice peaceful place to spend the night. At first we were parked behind the trees close to the road but we then went further and found the huge field. You could park there with any vehicle, there are trees to hide from the sun and a stunning view in the middle of the mountains

Very cool spot, we were alone in a huge field, unseen from the road and had a very good evening and night. We tried to go very early to the Siete Tazas but now the Conaf close the entrance at night and you have to wait for the morning opening and show your ticket. Also, we couldn’t go down in the rio to swim, the Conaf closed the path and even asked us to not go further. Don’t know if it’s temporary or not. You can refill your water at the toilets in the parc, they allow you to come back with jerricans.

We visited this place in March of 2021 and it was so good I had to come back to leave a comment. High clearance very much recommended, otherwise be ready to slalom around lots of rocks on your way to a good spot in this massive meadow. No water access, but it’s super peaceful and there was almost no one else around when we visited. We still dream of this beautiful spot a year later, one of our favorites!

Great spot, beautiful views no trash. High clearance super recommended because even our high clearance 4x4 hit something on the way in. Decent 3g entel. Water i think is impossible to get or a far way down

Camped here last night for 1 night. It was lovely! Felt very safe. Huge open space and very quiet and surrounded by trees. Not sure if anyone owns the land but we never saw anyone else around... Very close to Salto de la Novia and just a short drive to Siete de las Tazas. We got to the park around 8:45am and the rangers shower up around 9:15am so they didn't charge us anything to enter!

We stayed 4 nights there and it was a great spot in the middle of a huge field, surrounded by horses, sheeps and goats. We saw the shepherd several times, he was nice and did not ask us to leave. To see him working was really interesting!
Network 3G with Entel worked well.

We slept here with our camper van for 1 night.
It’s a nice place where you are not too visible from the road.
We started early in the morning to visit everything and we didn’t pay anything as nobody was there to collect the money.

Less than 1 km from Salto de la Novia this is a very nice spot to make camp. Its a enormous grassy field with a deep ravine on the opposite side. Down below you ll see and hear the Rio Claro. Close to the ravine you are far away from the dusty road and you can barely hear the traffic that passes by. Good views around. We visited the falls early morning and there was no ranger to collect entrance fee, saving us 10000 pesos. It is unclear whether this is private land, thee are no gates or signs. According to MapsMe it is not within park boundaries.
