Spots with fire pits between El Requeson and La Perla campgrounds. $200 pesos - someone will come by each day to collect money. Okay for bigger rigs. (Mine is 26’). Quiet & close to Requeson.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Spot is great - right on rocky beach and walking distance to Requeson, but far enough away that you don’t hear all the noise.
An older Mexican woman - I’m assuming Rosa - came by in the afternoon to ask for $200 pesos. (And she insisted that no one else was welcome to join unless they paid her as well.)
Report Check-InA few turn outs along the road between El Requeson and La Perla. We stayed in a spot closest to La Perla. Fire pit and ample space. Incredible view of the bay and a short walk to the sand bar and low tide over at Requeson. We were greeted by several vendors each day, but no one ever came by to ask for payment for our spot. One of our favorite camps in Baja so far. Absolutely beautiful and we saw a seahorse!
Report Check-InThe guy running Playa El Resqueson came over in a truck and charged 200 pesos per night. El Resqueson was pretty packed with campers closely spaced. Word as gotten out
Report Check-Ina guy came and ask for 200 Pesos, we paid 100 Pesos and he was laughing and went back, it was ok, very busy time, nice views, many dogs, lots of people around, on the second day their are not friendly, pay 200 P or leave, speak spanish if you are in mexiko, very unfriendly
Report Check-InNot Free! Rosa was by before dark asking others for 200 pesos. We were out walking but a truck came by later (Thomas). Firm on 200 pesos for all spots on the beach. Terrible toilet and palapas falling apart! It’s a nice spot for 100 pesos but no luck.
Report Check-InNice little spots between La Perla y El Requeson. Not free but you can easily "deal" your camping for 100MXP / night
Report Check-InLove this place. Preferring rocks for interesting snorkelling, and less fellow campers rather than more, we happily paid Rosa her requested 100P per night.
Report Check-InSpots were empty and had pick of the litter. El Requeson was busy. Didn't check La Perla. Rosa came around and asked for $200p. Talked her down to $100p. Think an animal died on the rocks though. Super foul and kept waking me up. Couldn't do two nights for sure.
Report Check-InNice spots. Very rocky beach but still fun for wading. Rosa from La Perla does ask for $150 MX. I negotiated $100 MX. Good stargazing but road noise is noticeable. I saw bioluminescence in the bay here.
Report Check-Innice place but Rosa the lady from la Perla came along & said she charges to camp here, 150 pesos
Report Check-InVery good location. Park exactly at the GPS location and you will get shade in the evening from one tree and shade in the morning from other one. Ok water access, privacy, view, minus scary outhouses and decaying palapas. Some noise from the hwy. More than reasonable price - free.
Report Check-InGreat free spot! It is in between 2 paid camping areas. Turn right once you get to the beach and you'll see fire pits and pull offs by the water. The water's edge is definitely rocky, but a 2 minute walk to the paid beach area and it's perfectly sandy, clear and great for swimming. Amazing views! You can even walk to the island in the bay at low tide when a sandbar appears to lead your way.
Report Check-InThere are some spots with fire pits between El Requeson and La Perla campgrounds.
FREE but rocky beach.
Easy acces but maybe not for a big rv.
We don't sleep here but it look like very calm and quiet.
