Wild camping on a hill above the river on flat grassy ground with some tree protection. Great panoramic overviews over the area! Place visited frequently by people especially for sunset. A lot of empty beer cans and some broken glass. Slept there one quiet night in February, without issues.

Great spot if you want to stay for the night. Would not recommend if you plan on sightseeing.
People often go there to party so probably someone will make some noise during the night.
Full of garbage, took a whole plastic bag filled with cans and cigarette boxes. Hope that you do the same if you stay here
We stayed here for 2 nights because we needed to stock up on some supplies and other stuff. Positive: nice spot good for any type off rig and also for camping with tents. Nice view over the valley and mountains. Negative: a lot of trash ( noy on the camping site itself but in the forest next to it and down the hill, we were checked once by the local carabineros: no problem for us to stay there but they woke us up in the middle of the night + the FDI passed by aswell: also no problem but they told us that the place was not so safe at night because a lot of the locals come here to drink and do drugs... In our experience we weren't bothered by any of these things (except some local youngster came by and smoked a little further) but maybe keep the advice of the FDI in mind.
