Don't know why we went here after all the bad comments below... We went on a Friday night thinking things had changed after two years. We were wrong! Started out with around 20 cars at 8pm, then at 9pm they started doing doughnuts right next to our van. I usually sleep through anything but even this was too loud for me - the tarmac was smoking they were revving so hard! Would love to know if the last people went on a weekend too, or whether this happens every night?
But either way, this place is fine for a pit stop to top up with water, shower and maybe even empty your toilet in the WC, but don't sleep here! 25 minutes away just south of the dunes there is a gorgeous spot by the sea and seals, go there instead!

Worst place to sleep. It’s a party scene for people that think they’re in a Fast & Furious movie. There’s a huge parking lot that fills up with about 50 cars that take turns doing burnouts, backfires, and blasting music/subs. I feel even this is an understatement. Police show up, they take off, and return in 20 minutes to start all over again. We wanted to leave and find somewhere else to sleep but they parked us in. Seriously, find anywhere else but here. The copecs north from here are quiet and in residential beach towns. I suggest there. Facilities are much cleaner/ newer too.

Big parking lot with great facilities. First night the kids came with their cars so pretty noise but the cops arrived. Second night they asked us to ‘contribuate’ and we did with 6000pesos. Safe and nice.

Okay place to stay but quite disappointed when one staff guy asked us for tip... Shower is 800 pesos. WiFi is good

I love Copecs. Clean bathrooms, decent wifi if you are close to the building, nice Pronto with plenty of stuff to eat/drink, felt safe. Only problem is that this is where all the young kids run car races around midnight! Oh my! Motors were roaring until 2.30 am when the cops showed up! After that it was decent and we got some sleep.

Full Service Copec, with showers and wifi. The place isn't really busy.

this was a very good and very quite place to stay overnight. they have a lot of place for parking, a small restaurant and shop, toilets and showers and wifi.

Free overnight. Clean restrooms and shower (500). WiFi is okay - no password needed. Not so noisy and plenty of space.

Clean bathrooms and ok wifi. Have to be next to the building to pick it up. (Must buy something at Punto, for the wifi code)
