Very beautiful spot, we were able to camp right at the beach. Now 25,000 pp per night though. Ablutions a little tired but clean Nice breezy lounge areas and palapas to hang out in. Manager kindly set up a tour of Kilwa Kisiwani site for us, $35 USD pp plus $10 pp park fee. Included tuk tuk and boat transportation to and from the campground and guide for a total of about a three hour tour. No wifi but decent cell signal on Vodacom.

This place is absolutely fantastic, located directly at the beach. The staff and the manager Baja make you feel very welcome and are very forthcoming! Dulla the chef prepares great food and dont forget to go shell searching with Rose. Paid 15k TSH pppn for camping.

We loved our stay here! The location is beautiful and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Price is also great at 15000 pp for camping right on the beach really. The food was great and for 50,000 you can get breakfast, lunch and a 3 course meal! Really amazing value.
The ablutions are sadly not great as nowhere to hang or put anything at all, but the showers near the restaurant are far better. Theres also a sink to wash dishes and some shelter and place for a fire. If you like history, highly recommend the trip to Kilwa Kisiwani, the guide was fantastic and it was very interesting.
Nice remote place. Don't follow Google maps or maps me here!! They make it hard to find

We stayed 2 week’s on this beautiful Lodge over Christmas and enjoyed every minute. Direct on the beach and watching the tides and the nearby fisher boats. Ablution are basic but clean and nearby. The restaurant are really good and Dullah cooking delicious. Also the whole staff is very friendly and when we left the car for dinner or swimming a guard sitting besonders the car, also during the night so we felt very secure. Here you have really good value for the money.
Have seen also the bungalow and they’re clean and make you feel welcome. A must is a trip to the island of Kilva Kisiwani an UNESCO world heritage site and will be arranged by the Lodge. Lilly the owner decorated the palms so nicely for Christmas.
We can recommend this place 100%.

I am on the last days of my 20 day round trip of Tanzania by car+driver. No better place then to wind down. Staf is smiling and attentive. Place is clean and food great. Internet is African. You notice on the many details that the place was set up by a European traveler with experience. God gave Grace to this place. Chalet price 100.000 - 120.000. But since it is the end of my trip….OK

Beautiful place right in the beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy, even with no other guests. We had a really nice fish dinner. They also arranged a tour of the Kilwa ruins including the bajaji into town, a stop a the antiquities office for a permit, a dhow to and from the island and a guide. A great place to stop for seeing Kilwa.

We did not camp, but only ate at the restaurant. Great food, with a beautiful view. We shared the seafood platter between 2 people (Tsh40,000) which included lobster, prawns, calamari and more, and were not even able to finish the meal.

What an amazing place to camp at.. If our time wasn't running out with our visa we would have definitely stayed much linger than one night.. We were able to camp almost right on the beach and they allowed us to use an extension cord for electricity. The staff is amazing and so friendly and Baja the manager is absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble to help with. Would also recommend their breakfast and even the menu for lunch and dinner looks great with decent prices. We had a quick look at the bandas that are on the beach and they are also well priced and very cute with their own bathroom and toilet. The camping ablution facilities are perfect with a shower, toilet and basin in one.. Only have cold water but this is perfect in the heat.. The price for camping is THS1500 per person per night, and well worth the money..... Definitely plan to stay for a few nights here.....

What a lovely place to relax, hammock, lounge chairs. Staff are very friendly. Nice restaurant set up - food was delicious. We camped for Ts30 000 per night for a tent. Bathrooms clean, cold water shower with excellent pressure to wash the days sweat away. I had a peak in one of the chalets. Spacious and beautifully decorated Africa style. Campsite itself was not first priority, but we camped between the last two chalets and could get electricity from the closest chalet.

Excellent spot to spend a few relaxing day. Very peaceful. Camping under the palms next to the beach, with electricity. Clean toilet and shower (cold). Delicious food. We shared a seafood platter, one portion big enough for two people. Camping TZS 22.000 per person, food between TZS 25.000 and 45.000. Quite expensive, but worth it. Friendly owner and staff.
