We saw 4 trucks topped by strong winds, one from a bridge, other 3 on straight line on the road. The strongest side winds I ever seen, tense, and on a beautiful day! If we knew how bad it was we would NOT have ventured! Loads of trucks sheltering under bridges and all side by side at PEMEX station. Only heavy loaded would continue. We went very slowly and stopped a number of times at Pemex for the forecast of wind ahead talking to the truck drivers. The dangerous period goes from Jan to March, so get the wind forescast ahead if you can! Special attention if driving a tall RV!
