Very quiet and great place for a good nights sleep. Look for the old windmill across the street from the wildlife refuge. Several other campers but no noise at all. 1 Bar Verizon 5G.

Very nice spot right across from the Wildlife Refuge. Look for the old windmill. Good level and quiet spots with only a few other vans and trailers.

Tony Meeks review is in the wrong location. that being said.... great spot as others has said. there is a bit of soft sand in areas off the beaten paths....so just be aware. vzw data speeds are fast. 50 mbps down 9up. ota TV brings in about 30 channels. I've been here 14 days and no issues whatsoever. Great spot.

Great spot for a night, very quiet and clean.
Easy access from the road, so had no problem with our 22 ft motorhome.
The place down at the river was full and had blowing dust.
Nice walk in the dried up riverbed, didn't see much wildlife. but heard sounds from chayote, owl, hawks and Burro's.

Beautiful quiet spot. Gorgeous sunset. Friday night and I’m the only one here. Ground was pretty rocky so I camped in the car (instead of tent). Missed the turn at first: there’s a small pass-through and cattle guard immediately across Cibola Lake Rd from turn in to visitors center. There’s a small windmill to the left as you face the gate.
