Namibia
Nice shady campground. Between very nice trees. Everything looks new and clean. Small but very clean pool. Prize was 160 Nad pp. that included ( for us) a canoe to peddle around on the beautiful lake. WiFi at the bar and pool.

we were asking the price by whatsapp : 240 rands per people per night. we didnt stay.
Report Check-InCampsite currently closed as they are reducing the number of pitches in order to build a facility for conferences. But the owner said they would reopen for campers in about a month’s time, so I guess would be open again by mid April ish
Report Check-InAll as described above.

Fabulous campsite on the banks of a lake (connected to the Zambezi). The campsite is grassy, shady and spread out! The ablutions are clean and the water is hot! We had free use of the canoes and our boys got to use the bikes for free as well. Zane and Zena are very friendly and helpful! The view from the bar is breathtaking at sunset! A great place to camp!
Report Check-InReally recommend this place! The owners Zane and Zena are so lovely, laid back and accommodating. Ended up staying a couple of weeks due to travel admin issues and they gave us a great rate for the Tented camp and chalet. Really felt at home here. Used the canoe every evening for free, the floodplain was in flood. Zane took us out for a boat ride to the Zambezi, so many birds to see. Best sunsets in Namibia to be seen from the deck or on the water. Fresh towels for the pool supplied everyday on the comfy loungers. Not far from Katima. You can hear the nearby village occasionally but there is overnight security. All in all a great spot!
Report Check-InVery nice campsite!! Friendly owners and staff! You can take a kayak (two persons, 4 available, with paddles and life jacket) on the laguna for free if you overnight. We paid N$150pppn with electricity.
Report Check-InVery very nice campsite. Everything is beautiful! And after the dust of Botswana its wonderful to have grass!!
They charge 180 N$ pnpp (high season) and 60 N$ for the electricity at your site but even like that its worthed!
Be aware of monkeys!
They offer boat cruises on the zambezi river. We warmly recommend the place.
Everything as stated below. Tar road is finished and price is still N$160 pp. They do ask an extra N$60 per night if you want to use the 220v. power for your camping fridge.
Very friendly staff.
See the detailed description from March 18. Infos are still valid.
Watch out for the small naughty monkeys.
160 $ pppn.
WiFi for free. Working at the Bar and Pool Area.
MTC Signal is EDGE, catches sometimes 3 G.
Easy and quick from Katima because of the new tar road.
Report Check-Invery nice. camping, campsite tents, safari tents and chalets.
lovely shade in the campsite.
electric power.
great place to stay
Absolute stunning, nice shaded camp sites under big trees with braai, socket, light and water. Clean and big ablution block. Wonderful restaurant. Main road is under construction and will probably finish within 2018. Recommendable!
Report Check-InWhat a find!
We called in planning a quick overnighter, and ended up staying three nights! A lovely spot, so peaceful and calm. But most of all the owners and staff made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. So helpful and accommodating.
Each pitch has a braai pit (scrubbed clean daily), plug socket and light. There are shared taps and bins close by, although we had the entire campsite to ourselves. Ablutions are large, spotlessly clean and well maintained, with lovely hot showers. There is also an area with sinks for washing up, etc, and a washing line.
It is free to take a canoe out on the lake. There is also a wide variety of boat trips, day trips, bicycle tours, village walking tours, mokoro tours, etc that are offered/arranged here.
There is a bar with a deck over the lake and communal fire pit. The restaurant serves excellent food (must book in advance).
WiFi is good, and a laundry service is offered at N$30 per kilo. Babysitting service also available.
N$160 pppn.
