Something not right?

Description

58/25 mbps on Visible LTE (Verizon). Free, if you have an America The Beautiful pass. So I guess not technically free. There aren't many level spots at this location. A few miles of washboard roads and potholes on the way up but it's mostly a small paved road closer to the Campground. I wouldn't try bringing anything larger than an extended tall van up here. A couple of clean picnic tables. Lots of fire rings but fires still aren't allowed. I was camping at an unmarked flat spot off of the road coming in and the USFS told me it was illegal and I had to move. They threatened me with a citation. USFS in this area only allows camping in designated areas.

Pretty peaceful location. Campsites were clean, but there aren't too many spots with level ground. Manageable coverage with Google Fi.

road can get narrow coming in here, but didn't notice that many clearance issues. just watch out for cars coming your way, I got real lucky and didn't run into anyone.

spots can fit several cars or a sprinter van. wouldn't recommend anything much bigger than that..vault toilet was nice. had decent LTE as well.

Report Check-In

We stayed here three nights and it was nice. On the weekend the OHVs can get a little bit annoying. The road to the campground has some bad sections but is manageable, as described below.

Report Check-In

Nice CG in National Forest. Federal recreation pass required. Vault toilet. Some low trees so high rigs beware. The area is designated for off road vehicles so keep an eye out for them on the access roads.

Report Check-In

Free with adventure or federal park pass and completely empty on Thanksgiving :-)

Quiet

Quiet, very relaxing. Off road capable. Not for beginners. (On some Trail Parts)

Report Check-In

With annualpass free. 10 km from highway but most paved and other parts good for my 24 ft RV. Nice shady spots with firepits and Some picknick tables. Pit toilet. Very quiet. Not for longer rv’s. Good telephone signal
