This county campground best feature is that it is at the intersections of Highways 395 and 168 so makes an easy stop before getting an early start into Death Valley or destinations beyond. It has hookups and showers so it can be a good place to clean up and reprovision in Big Pine. Nice views but be prepared for some road noise and there is not much privacy.

Arrived mid day. All the serviced sites were taken, mostly by long terms. Lots of dry sites available. Not a lot of room between sites. Photo of fee schedule attached.
Report Check-Inthey no longer offer showers for non-campers. didn't stay here, but otherwise seems like a nice campground that is right off the freeway.
Report Check-InWe have stayed here fir ten days whilst waiting for vehicle parts. $20 night for electric and water hook up. Well looked after by the camp host who was also great for local information and advice. Handy for the town with shops and a diy store within the Chevron garage. Free WiFi at the library (fair walk though). Good base for exploring surrounding area. Bit of traffic noise.
