Description

This place ist just amazing! A seperate part of a beach we had just for us alone. The water is clear and you can go out far without swimming. Sandy road to get there and we would recommend 4x4. Especially if you really want to stay in front of the beach! Its worth the drive from the MEX 1 (takes about 45 min).

It is as everyone has posted. It’s beautiful, it’s sheltered, the surf is stunning and we have been all alone for 3 days. There are 3 coyotes who roam the beach and many whales passing by. It’s going to be hard to leave.

LOVED this spot. We stayed for 3 nights and had the whole beach completely to ourselves. Not too many flies, it's possible to swim you can also climb the rocky walls surrounding the beach to see the epic sunset. We felt very safe and private, even made a little party with our DJ set. :D

Just don't get discouraged as you drive from the main road all the way here, it is quite a long and bumpy drive. We have a 4x4 but I think it'd be manageable in 2wd as well. No cell service. Oh, and one more thing - don't park too close to the sea. We did that, not knowing that the tide was still rising and we had to move the car eventually, cause the water came right to our doorsteps. :D

Nice spot. To be honest, one of the few beaches in Baja this year we have had to ourselves. Great beach walks. Very peaceful if you desire some solitude. Would only recommend 4wd as the arroyo has some pretty soft spots. Air is quite humid and salty, so will look for a car wash when we leave here. There is good cell (HSPA+) service up on the dunes. Marginal (Edge) down at the beach level.

Great spot right next to the beach. Stayed two nights just off the beach. We’re a B+ 2WD with a rear locking differential on the rear dully tires. 2WD can make it if you don’t slow down on the road in and don’t pull all the way up to the beach. We locked our rear wheels at one point just to be safe.
No trash here. Please pack your trash out One or two bars of cell signal. No surfing to be had but a swimmable beach in the small break. Enjoy.

Back again in 2021! Peaceful! It appears we have weak cell service.

This place is awesome. We rolled in right after sunset and there was already a small camper parked. No fear, there was plenty of space for us to stay too and give them their privacy as well. About ten minutes before getting to the spot, we did pass a truck of local older guys who stopped and seemed like they wanted to ask for money. We said hola and buenos noches and kept driving and that was that. The reviews are all accurate. It took us about 45 minutes or so to get here from the 1. We took air out of the tires which made the bumps more smooth, but we didn’t really feel like it was that necessary until we decided to pull further out into the sand once we got to the beach. 4x4 would be recommended for the end of the road, but not imperative. We passed plenty of big rigs and trailers at the end of the road. The road gets a bit rough right before this spot. We did hear coyotes close by in the middle of the night, so watch your pups. Beautiful beach and area, highly recommended. (PS during our 3 day stay, no one came by for money. I think this is the place to be to avoid that)

Beautiful peaceful camping. Definitely recommend 4x4!!

As described. Have a 4WD pickup but didn't need it. It is rough getting there and the sand can get you stuck. I stayed up on top because it is obvious that this can flood with the tide and I don't know the tides here. Just some more info if you go.

Need 4x4 to even dream
Of going to dream beach. Very soft sandy arroyo.

Awesome spot, all alone, quiet. Good to have 4x4 to go to the beach. Great swimming. Stayed 2 nights, well worth the drive.
