Permitted wild camping site off of a dirt track with some fairly steep climbs. Nearly all in woodland with lots of hikes and trails and a gorge to explore. Quiet. Fires allowed and most of the pitches had stone fire places with plenty of fallen trees to use as fuel. No facilities.

This is a huge site, you could fit multiple vehicles in here with some great flat spots for either truck van or tent camping. Probably the best site on this road. There is some views when the leaves are gone but otherwise it’s in the trees. Although just off the road. There is an in and out so if you were towing a small camper, you could actually pull in and pull out.
Report Check-InThere are great sites all up and down this road, but be VERY cautious if coming up from the southern side, the road gets really rough and rocky. High clearance necessary. But going from north down if you take one of the first sites, the road is clean and easy. Would not recommend after a rain, can be muddy.
