Trailhead parking on dirt/gravel area right off the highway. Room for multiple vehicles. A bit of noise from the highway but a good place for the night.
Looking at google maps, it appears there are more parking spots if you continued north on the dirt road, but we didn’t make it up there.

okay place to sleep for a night. right off highway so pretty noisy
Report Check-InDrove a very short way up Pinion drive and found a flat-ish spot along the side of the road to sleep for the night. Road noise was minimal and nice views of mount potosi to wake up to. I engaged the low range 4x4 on my sprinter as a precaution mostly bc the grade was so steep. Fine place to sleep though it looks as though there may be some better options about 10 min further down this highway.
Report Check-InParking area just off the main highway. We didn't venture up the trails as there were signs saying residential use and public property if you drive back past the main area. Seems like people park there and walk their dogs, based on the amount of dog poo. There's lots of deadfall to use as firewood if you're camping nearby!
Report Check-Inno "no" signs. room at the trailhead for a few cars. glass and litter on the ground but shade trees and level spots
