Splendid canyon to walk ! | Tourist Attraction

Saw a sign said "Entry Only for Authorization". Think it's not allowed to enter there.

Not really worth the effort...not that nice of a canyon? But might be ok to break up a long drive to stretch the legs here. About an hour return hike to the marked “viewpoint”

Water about ankle deep, crossed about 6-7 streams one way

In October, there was a lot of rain the last few days and the water level was too high, I couldn't make it very far into the canyon. The water doesn't look too deep and one could probably wadle in, but it was 8 degrees and there was still patches of snow here and there... probably not the best time for that! Lots of boots prints here and there, so I wouldn't say that no one comes here anymore!

Very nice stop to stretch your legs. As described, just hop over the stream and the stones. In summer it's very easy, in Winter the River might get too big

If you have the guts to stop at the Carretera Austral, to cross the large (hidden) grasfield, to jump over a small river and to cross a bit of forest you end up in this very nice canyon between the rocks. You can see the beginning of the canyon from the Carretera Austral. Just walk that direction, there is no path, nor fences. The more upstream, the nicer the views and the steeper the cliffs ! You're completely alone, no one comes here. And free of charge !! We were here in summertime and then you can jumps over the rocks in the canyon river. Probably in winter and spring a lot more water may make this impossible to pass. Enjoy!
