Super site encore peu exploité touristiquement, nous avons passé la nuit sur le parking à l’entrée (gratuit) et à l’ouverture nous étions seuls sur le site pour visiter. A voir
Report Check-Inquite, dark, nice birds, ruina 70PpP is not spectacular but ok, perfect sleep for a stopover open 8am to 4pm, after and before nobody around
Report Check-InGreat spot to stay even if not seeing the ruins, beautiful sunset, scenic spot, very quiet, very very minimal traffic, ruins are worth a look and go see the cave closer to the highway it's pretty cool
Report Check-InSpent the night for free in the parking lot, super quiet. In the morning we visited the ruins (70 pesos pp entrance fee). Super friendly and knowledgeable security guard. We were the only one on the site during our visit

Nice place to stay. In the morning we visited the ruins. Please, be careful in the night since we so quite a huge SNAKE in the high grass just across the road.
Report Check-Inthe guard opened the oxkintok pyramide site just for us, so we had the whole ancient city in the jungle for ourselves. we stayed overnight in front of the gate. super quiet and just us. a must do on your trip
Report Check-InSpent a nice, quiet night here, the place was closed for the evening, but we arrived an hour before dark.
Can confirm Google Maps takes you the long way through the nearest town then through a rough, overgrown road. Instead, take the road from highway 180, it's maintained and shorter.
The caretaker is super nice and friendly, highly recommend!
Added a picture of the site and the overgrown road that should be avoided
Report Check-InWe spend one night. Very quiet. The park is closed but we visited at the end of the day.
Nobody was there. No mosquito.
Great place for the night, and no one charged us to look at the pyramids in the morning. Take the dirt road off of the 180 highway it’s much better then the road from calcehtok which is overgrown and we could barely fit our van down it
Report Check-InSuper quiet place to sleep. The "parking" is actual a few spot of nicely cut grass on the side of the road and next to the pyramids site. It is right in the middle of Bush and it felt super safe. A few locals pass by on their way back to home I guess. Lot of mostiquo...
Report Check-Inarrived in the late evening. Is deep in the somewhere - really nice and very quiet place to stay overnight. Best to visit the pyramids next day.
