This is certainly one of the nicest hot springs that we’ve ever visited! Expensive for sure but you can make a day of it as a treat. Right at $50usd per person.

We couldn’t get out cc to work for an online ticket purchase so bought them onsite.

We arrived around noon and were initially disappointed as the lower parking lot was just about full. However when we went in we oftentimes had pools where we were alone or maybe on other couple. People seem to disperse. Got more and more crowded though as the day progressed.

There’s a nice common are where they serve food that looked pretty good. $13 for a pizza. We didn’t eat there.

International Credit Cards do not work by online booking. After 1 hour trying we called the Termas. They know the problem with foreign credit card. So just go to the Termas without a reservation, they will let you in.

We arrived at 9:15 am and pay 90000 p for 2 persons. It is fantasic, but no shower after the visit. At 2pm More and more people are comming

The road there is a 17km dirt road but it's totally doable with a 2WD, even when wet. I am not sure about the condition when it snowed but I think it doesn't snow a lot on this side of the volcano.

Report Check-In

way overpriced.
the architectural beauty is one of a kind. the entire infrastructure is very well adapted to the surrounding natural landscape.
2 things take this beauty away: it’s very crowded (all year long), and it’s extremely expensive (for a thermal pool).
- no showers
- there’s a cafeteria with a few expensive not-very-good-looking things.

if you’re nearby and have 30.000 CLP to spare, and want to have a special kind of thermal pool experience you can check it out.
you’re allowed to exit as many times and re-enter the same day, so you can bring some food in your vehicle and avoid the cafeteria.

I have no other experience with thermal pools in Chile but the setting is really awesome. It is expensive so if you are looking for one thermal pool find another. If you want more an ‘experience’ this one is good. Update prices are in the description

Look new price picture. More expensive now.

Tens of hot pools in a narrow canyon, between 33°C and too hot to even stick your hand in. Two waterfalls and a few cold water (6 °C) pools to cool yourself.

Everything is built to look natural and integrated. It's unique - we haven't seen anything like it and we will remember it for a long time (and we usually forget entrance fees).

This is the nicest we have seen during our South America trip, with Termas Papallacta (Ecuador, -0.36201 -78.15069) a good second, and San Niconar (Uruguay, -31.53456 -57.80006) third for it's campground.

Indeed very beautiful Termas. The location of the different pools in this very narrow george (and overgrown with plants) is stunning. The walkway is build over the river. We were there on a very rainy day and it was magic with the fog from the hot pools. It is definetely worth the price. Ask for the "Jubilado-Discuento" if you are retired. Recommended!

A visit of the Termas Geometricas is an unique experience and well worth the money. We visited the thermes at 10:00 in the morning and had the place almost for our own for the next two hours.

The road to the thermes is mainly made of gravel and in a good condition at the moment. At least for Chilean terms. However, there are some steep parts. But they are manageable with a regular car as long as it is dry.

Great remote spot, major road work on the dirt road up here. The termas are incredible and well worth the lot of money they charge. Pure serenity.

Not really suited for families with young children as us because of the small wooden walkways between the pools and the hot water- but still a great experience and Chileans go there with their toddlers. Go when it's empty - early morning probably.

It would have been nice to stay at the grassy parking lot overnight but sadly they strictly don't allow it. We went to termas Rincon instead and stayed there on the other side of the road.

We have been visiting lots of thermals over the years driving south but this was definitely our favorite. Its expensive but what a setting.

Very nice and worth visiting even though it is expensive. Beautifully set in a black gorge there are 20 natural stone pools with warm water ( between 35 and 45deg. ), one of them with cold water (9 deg. ) as well as a waterfall. Beautiful setting among lush green rainforest. All pools connected by a wooden walkway. Changing rooms, lockers and toilets, but no shower. Some pools are too hot and therefore closed, some smell a bit of sulfur but everything is well kept and clean. With the entrance towels and a lock for the lockers in the changing room is included. There is also a café onsite selling snacks and refreshments. Opening as per Jan 2018: from 10am to 23pm, lots of people between noon and 9pm, however still relaxing. In the evening everything is romantically illuminated. No overnight parking on their parking grounds allowed. Prices: 10-12: 23000/ 12-18: 28000/ 18-21: 25000/ 21-23: 20000 CLP. Kids 12000 all day. The entry time is determining for the price, you can stay until the closing at 23h.
