expensive, yummy meal. ribs were a little light on the meat. the brisket was divine. Park anywhere for the night. beautiful spot. no facilities. Common Poorwill lulled us to sleep.
Report Check-InWe contacted the steakhouse by phone to confirm that we could stay overnight with our 18 foot trailer. We arrived before dinner and were shown by security where to park. Both security staff asked if we needed a ride to the restaurant, which was pretty close. The food and service was excellent and the night parked in the lot was quiet (except for a major coyote serenade). There is a large "zoo" which is free to diners. They also have a "hayride" to the movie sets on the ranch, also free to diners, which we didn't know about and didn't do.
Report Check-InQuite the hidden gem indeed! A must stop for us when passing through El Paso. Great food for a free place to stay. Ranch to table food. Technically big rig friendly - RV parking at TOP of hill. Be careful though, it is a VERY steep incline to get to the RV section.
Report Check-InThis is a hidden gem, off I40 approx 5 miles lies a complex including a great steakhouse, petting zoo for kids, movie set from resurrection, and numerous birds and animals .
The steaks are a little pricey but worth it. 25.00 for a 6 oz filet.
RVs can stay free in a large lot on the hill
