Small road goes down to a nice and flat grassy place a few meter above the lake. Great view over the lake and surroundings. A bit better hidden than the places beside the mainroad. Alone beside from fisherman, may be busy at weekends. Maybe not for big rigs because of the narrow curve down. Wonderful place to try your first asado in argentina ;-)

Police told us that we couldn't stay here for the night (and all around the lake) because we would get robbed. Some other locals told us that it was indeed a dangerous area by night. At 500m west there is the municipal camping where there is also the police office, much safer. We paid 400 ARS in total (2pers in a van)
Report Check-InWe didnt drive down, seemed a bit narrow to us. But above there's plenty of spots next to the river on the grass where you can park. Close to the bridge, some fishermen until the sun goes down. Not secluded but chill. We stayed one night. Enjoyed the view.
Report Check-InGreat place near Jujuy, nice view, flat ground, fire pit, quiet at night but some trucks in the morning, not a big deal with sounds of birds.
All the road is paved from Jujuy and easy to access by night.
Nice place to chill and sleep. The Lake is brown and at some places a bit dirthy. But it doesn’t stink. We liked it a lot!
Report Check-InConfirm. Great spot near Jujuy: easy access, mostly hidden from road, nice view on the lake, fishing spot.
Report Check-InOne of our favorites. Perfectly tucked in with our 6m, 2WD. The first corner is a bit tight. We reversed into the site. Absolutely quiet overnight. Sweet dreams!
