Plase don t go to this place! We discover at the sunrise when the guy threw us away agressively that he was not the owner and we were not allowed legally to camp there. Not nice and not worth the 5 USD and not safe around according to the police.

Pedro nos atendió bien. el se acercó porque estábamos detrás de la iglesia. dijo que era inseguro. el.lugar está abierto y se puede pasar aquí. Es gratuito pero dejamos 2usd a voluntad// Pedro saw us next to the church and offered us stay at his place for free. he said is not secure where we were. we gave him 2usd as a tip.

we stayed her close to the lagoon. the toilet where out of order, also the watertape. we paid 5$ per night. there is a wifi posibility. its a place with potential but who will handle it ????

Asked the owner/proprietor (Pedro) if we could camp at this place, so he directed us to a spot in the backyard. Next to Lago Colta and with views of Chimborazo (I think) when the clouds clear. Quiet at night. Toilets available for use. Future travelers are welcome. Paid $5 for the night.
