We also ended up here after the rafting trip. Large sandy/grassy area. Next to road but hidden. River makes more noise than the road :). Expect rafters later on the day, especially in the high season.

This is the spot where we ended our river rafting. There is room for vans and tents and right next to the river. The river is wild, but you can swim but be careful.

open. still the same. the sign says that it is property of the nearby hotel and you cannot camp in there. we went to the hotel to ask for permission, but nobody answered. we stayed. was great.

Stopped here to camp but there’s a clear sign that says that it’s private property and says “No Acampar”. You can use the area during the day. We just didn’t feel like risking it and getting kicked out. Nice place nevertheless.

Great spot for the night with stunning views. The river is strong but there’s a nice spot where you can jump in for a swim, it was bloody cold.

Reiterate the below. This is a beautiful campsite. Close to a beautiful green river. String rapids and current but pools into a shallow bay at this site which you can splash around in. Safe, not visible from road, quiet (other than the river) and a large flat area.

This place is a bless after all that ripio. Is a private property that they “gently” leave open so all the rest of the mortals can enjoy it... let’s take our trash and NOT build fires so it remains open.

Amazing spot! All has been said apart from the fact that this time of the year (end of November) the sun disappears behind the mountain on the other side around 6 PM which is really a shame. Apart from that, amazing!!!

Superb camping spot by the river with stunning views even on a rainy day! Nobody else was around during our stay, but then again it's off-season. From Villa Santa Lucia heading towards Futaleufu, this spot is on the left, a little after kilometer marker 8, right before the Puente El Sapo. There's an open/broken fence with a gravel road leading to the river. Plenty of level spots, cover from tree, and there are even several fire pits around the area. Free!!!

very Nice spot but be carefull if you go there with a heavy motorhome. It was impossible for us to go out and we have had to be pulled out by a 4x4

Der Platz ist einfach paradiesisch !!! Das Rauschen des Flusses überdeckt die gelegentlichen Strassengeräusche.
Ruhig und ungestört kann man hier stehen... und die Riverrafter beobachten.

This spot is great! We spent two nights there and could stay many more. Beautiful view of the clear water river and very quiet at day and night. Super recommended!!

as beautiful as described by others. it is private land and we met the owners. they ask that campers keep the area clean, leaveni trash, and don't build fires. let's all do that so it remains open

Stunning area next to blue river with snow capped peaks all around. There are large sandy spots near river and fire pits. Places for big rigs and tent campers. Hidden off road. Free. We had a hot sunny day here and had a blast swimming in the river a a huge fire at night. A few people here during day but we were alone at night.
