Chile
Though it is an identified camp site, no facilities here except for the nice river on the back. Plenty of wind shelters and fire spots. For Rock climbers, the main wall of the site is next to this spot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Only available for tents! It says in the climbing guide that it is forbidden for vehicles and there are rocks placed on the road to prevent access.
Report Check-Inwe stayed at the top of the Hill. very good place not too windy at night ! Amazing Sky AT night and good talks with climbers.
Report Check-InVery beautiful place. Clean river. Very windy and sandy and sunny - great climbing.
Report Check-InUpdate: per the climbing topo and local climbers cars are forbidden on the camping spot, only tents are allowed. if you want to sleep in your car/van there is a parking area just before the entrance, next to the road.
Report Check-InVery special landscape! Campground is flat but has no facilities. The river supplies water. Nights are cold and the wind is strong and chilling.
Reach the campground by taking the dirt road to the left (if you drive towards Argentina).
Incredible. Worth spending a day or two even if you do not climb. Be careful with the changing weather though, we had sunny days and snowy nights.
Report Check-InI stayed camped there for a week to climb, drinking water very close (the best water is in the second river, crossing the first just walk a few minutes), beautiful waterfalls to visit, quiet place, road with reasonable flow of cars for being near the border , has no trade nearby.
