Description

Bush- embassy of Ivory coast.Disaster- embassy... if you get a date for take your visa, make sure, that that is no holiday, we got a lot of trouble, because when we get there, nobody was there, and a man has to come on a holy holiday(which they did not know at monday, two days before!) he was very angry, and he screamed at us, and wanted, that we pay for his transport ! we did not pay for it, because it was definitly not our fault. so he told us, that we are not allowed to come back ever again! we will certainly not ! They speak english :-) opens at 9 am

UPDATE: We were able to apply for the visa after getting a Ghana Non Citizen Identity Card. The process to apply for an actually get the card took about two hours (we were there early before it was too busy) and it cost 1,614 Cedis (~$120 USD). I think technically (according to the application and some information online) you need to be a resident to get the identity card, but nevertheless we were able to get it. You can get the non-citizen identity card here: CalBank 23 Independence Ave, Accra, Ghana at the NIA office (National Identification Authority).

Got visa here. Emmanuel works at the front and does the visas, and was very friendly, and did the visa for us. Just be polite and friendly to him and he gets it done! It was a 3 hour process with interruptions, but was painless. Saw some people catching flights that they got visas turned around for within an hour or two.

I was refused the visa because I'm not a resident of Ghana. I was told to apply for a visa on arrival (airport only) or to apply anywhere in Europe, "in Ghana we have restrictions".

Very friendly embassy. We have make our visa and laisse passe for Ivory cost. The agent Andreann was friendly and help full.

Visa, need to pay online before and print the receip.

Landboarder is now close so we need a laisse passer ( in and out). Need to make a paper explane why you need it and small description of you snd your travel. Need to provide date and location of crossing boarder (in and out). Provide pictures ( 4 sides) of your véhicule. Take 10 days of delay. No need to come back to the embassy for laisse passer, they will send it directly at the boarder.

Easy but need to be patient and doing so paper work...

All was easy at the boarder after too (without CDP)

Better to take the number of the embassy agent just in case ...

You have to pay the fee online first at www.snedai.ci (58€). Then you go to this embassy with the payment receipt, passport copy, yellow fever original, 1 photograph, hotel reservation and fill in the application form. You'll have to wait for them to take your picture and prints. Applications can be done until 1pm and visa collection is at 2pm 3 days later. Easy and straightforward, staff are correct.
