Description

Very secluded location mixed into the rocks at the base of Granite Peak. Very difficult to get into with a full-size truck pulling a trailer, but we managed. I would recommend not going back into where we went and stop short before it gets tight. We jockeyed back and forth for 45 minutes trying to fit. Great rocks to climb and areas to explore here. We passed a park ranger on our way in and got a friendly wave, so this is a legal spot. Lots of additional camping in this area as well that can be spotted via Google Maps.

Great campsite within the rock formations. Not to bad to drive in to. Very windy and a little chilly at night. There were 2 other campers at other campsites in the area but still plenty of privacy.

Very nice area! We found a secluded spot short of this specific location. It had a bit of road noise, but really spectacular and good exploring. Amazingly clean for dispersed desert camping.

Great spot! But cold & very windy at night during the time we stayed. Quiet and saw lots of rabbits and coyotes.

This is a distributed campsite area that is really nice. Some sites have fire rings and all have some wind protection and shade. We stayed for 3 nights and had great hiking and exploring in the rocks.

Amazing. Lots of spots for rigs if all shapes and sizes. Just beautiful.
