Turn out on side street of Highway #1 near Lake Lucerne. Ok for a night if arriving late and leaving the next morning. A bit of traffic noise (quiets down in the night) but in this area with "no camping" signs everywhere and very expensive beach camping (most start at $35!), this place is an option to spend the night.

We did not stay here, but it is a nice spot. It would do in a pinch, but it was just too "busy" when we stopped there, chp was pulling people over left n right up on Hwy. 1 w siren so it wasn't very relaxing. We moved to another spot 8 miles up the hwy. But it's level, picturesque and convenient.
Report Check-InJust in front of collection center. very flat. perfect for our promaster.
leave the entre free. Open at 7h30. but nobody said anything. very quiet and safe.
Great quiet place. it's clean. let's keep it that way. there was a beautiful lake view and you can hear the ocean a little at night. Bunnies, ducks, and egrets to view.
Report Check-InNice and quiet pull out next to the lake some distance from the highway. No AT&T signal though.
Report Check-InGood spot, wasn’t bothered. Picked up other peoples trash though. Please be considerate and pack out what you pack in. We don’t want to loose these spots!
Report Check-InWent here after the public parking lot nearby was full. It was a very quiet and peaceful spot and very close to Highway 1. Only room for a few vans but nice and peaceful.
Report Check-InLove love loved this spot! Super beautiful, so close to the 1, and so quiet. Stayed with another campervan, and there was plenty of room for both of us. 1-2 bars LTE xfinity mobile. Would go out of my way to stay there again.
Report Check-InHad a very quite night. Not many cars on the side road. Verizon was a little hit and miss. Nice to grab a geocache 15 feet away.
Report Check-InVery quiet night, arrived late, just far enough from the road to ear it in background so it was perfect for sleeping a bit late this morning . Perfect spot for one night. I ear the birds :)
Report Check-InNobody bothered all night. Nice and quiet with minimal traffic. Still no signage. Thank you to those who keep these places tidy.
Report Check-InDecently secluded, unfortunately trashed a bit. Cleaned up what I could.
Report Check-InYou probably can’t find a quieter spot this close to highway 1! This is a flat dirt pull off next to a very active little body of water for a night of frog and owl noises. You can see the highway (and the ocean!) but neither lights nor sounds are bothersome. This is clearly a quiet local road—please leave no trace!
Report Check-InSweet spot for one night. Far enough from the highway to have calm night.
Report Check-InThis is a good stealth spot away from the heavily patrolled highway 1. We can say first hand that the iOverland spots on HW1 North of this had a patrolman turfing people out. He didn't come here which is great!
Report Check-InNice pull off. Very little road noise. No problems at all parking over night.
Report Check-InQuite after sunset,#1 is far enough to have a nice&calm night, still NO signs,
