asked for fruit, which we didn't have, and requested to look inside the fridge. I just barely opened the lid and he said that was enough and let us pass. nice guys. even recognized our Oregon plates.

We cross the control during sunday, lot of cars was there and all the car continue the road without stop by the police and the sanitary control. Easy

Fruit check was easy, but just a few km after this there was a police check where they were pulling over “random” vehicles, pulled us aside and said we would get an infraction because driving with flip flops is illegal. We just laughed and they checked the drivers license and let us go. Weird...

A nice officer checked the van and our papers but not much in details and not the fruits part. It lasted 5 minutes.

We did not understand much to the officer, maybe thats a strategy how to go through with some hidden fruit, our car was full of lot of stuff from Mendoza, not much organised so they let us go.

Fruit Check south bound . Quite a lot of not allowed food was written dow. Luckly they didn't check througly so we could keep the fresh veggies and fruits from Mendoza.
