Description

Only for very small cars. Very very good camping! Safe, we were at the municipal camping first, but it was a little noisy, so we have found this one! It is far enough from the city center, but you can easily walk there. The place has good parking space and is really silent at night. Good Wi-Fi, hot showers and two clean and nice pools. There is music during the day, but they always turn it off at 7pm. The owners are really friendly. There is also a ‘kiosko’ where you can buy cold drinks and some snacks. It is 150pesos pp. They also have rooms to rent.
.....

Totally didn’t read the sign that they don’t allow big campers or any campers for that matter. Ours is not even big, it’s a dodge van.. 17 ft long but there was no space to fit ours. So we left

Peaceful, quiet, friendly. Shady trees. Good place to stay for a few days and relax. We highly recommend it.

Report Check-In

I planned to stay a couple of nights but it was so nice I stayed for 2 weeks. The owner is very friendly and has lots of knowledge about the area and took me on a hike to see some local ruins up the mountain. It was difficult to leave... Santa Maria is a friendly place and Camping El Sol is a nice tranquil base.

Report Check-In

Had a very quiet night, guarded by the friendly owners‘ dogs. Clean bathroom, hot shower. Didn’t see any pools, but we couldn’t go very far into the campsite, we had to stay right at the entrance because of our height and the low trees.

Report Check-In

We drove in here but the place was packed so we did not stay. We would have been required to stay in a very tight place. We were warned that there was a fiesta in the city.

Report Check-In

Impossible not to fall in love with this place, a place that makes you feel at home, that has all the facilities for small or large equipment. a beautiful place, wooded, has 2 fantastic pools, bathrooms with hot showers and very clean. in addition, the friendliness and helpfulness of its owners Nancy (tour guide knows all the points in the region) and her son make all the difference. obligatory place for those who go up or down route 40

Report Check-In

We arrived in the city late and the municipal campsite was having a party, very noise. So we came here. Very quiet to sleep, hot showers, the owner is very friendly and helpful. We pay ARS$1000 per person.

Report Check-In

As expected (offseason) I was the only guest and had full attention: wifi, hot shower, a lot of silence and pure relaxation.... The people are extremely nice. Everything seemed a little bit abandoned, but in good shape. I really liked it!

Report Check-In

Cheap and quiet camping. Two swimming pools, plenty of space, and few people when we were there. They also have a mini Mercado in case you need to buy basic stuffs

Report Check-In

As everybody describes a very nice campground with friendly owners. It’s very popular with local Argentine residents. We arrived and received a very nice camping spot then shortly thereafter after we had it completely set up a very arrogant local and his family showed up and demanded we move our camper so that he could access a grassy spot behind our camper. Plus, we learned we would have to move our camper several times as they were not spending the night and other people were joining them then departing late. The entire episode made no sense to us so after an argument that we determined we would not win we simply packed up and left because it was not worth the trouble. We received a refund and an apology from the owner. We would recommend this campground for all of its positive attributes. As always, remember it’s their country and their culture. We gringos are just in it.

Very nice. Super friendly host. Quiet. Secluded. Fast wifi (with our booster). Clean banos. (Must ask for water to be heated.) Quiet. 250$pp/pn. No extra charge for vehicle. Space for big rigs (max 2) is tight with lots of branches and other growth nearby. Nice pools - we did not use. 30 min walk to supermarket. Pretty square.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot! Very comfortable and peaceful at night. Music is definitely a negative, but otherwise it’s perfect. They are charging 250ARSpp, no extra charge for car with rooftop tent.

Report Check-In

It is a very nice campsite, it wasn't crowded at all, nice bbq places, electric points, there is music but they turn it off at 7pm. The only thing is toiletries, and duchas could be more cleaner. Still good value we paid 2 people and the car 500 ARS

Report Check-In

As described before. It’s a great place to spend a day with family or friends. Lots of parrillas, 2 big swimming pool. Just to spots for big rigs, we have a Defender 110 with a top tent, it fits.
There is a small bar working during the day. There is hot showers (heated by fire) that works just from 7pm to 11pm. If you are looking for silence and peace, this is not a good choose, it’s crowded all day long and the bar turn the sound to loud.

Report Check-In

200 pp after negotiate they wanted 250.
Small spot under the shadow of the trees. 2 swimming pool. Wifi only close to it. On shelter if it rain to it ans cook. Hot shower only from 7pm to early morning (leña).
It's also the campground or the swimming pool for all the kids in holidays so from 8am to 7pm it's very noisy and crowded in the swimming pool.

Report Check-In

As described. I paid Ar$200 for myself and rig. Just 2 spaces for bigger rigs. I'm a slide on camper, so 3.2mx2.2x6.2. Tight but doable. Lovely shady spots. Good wifi close to pools. Paying with card carries a 10% surcharge. Hot showers from 6-9pm. Nice Place

Report Check-In

Excellent safe camping! Hot showers, toilets, wifi, 2x pools in the summer, electricity, potable water. Yummy mega big Milanesa sandwich!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Great place as mentioned bevor, loved it!
300ars two pp in a van.
They just filed and cleaned the pool with new water.
There is just one place for bigger rigs (but not for huge once I guess), all the other sites just accessible for cars/vans due lot of trees with low hanging branches.
Coming from north maps.me takes a silly shortcut through the river, take the bridge in the village, unless you like to test your 4x4 ;)

Report Check-In

We spend 3 nights here, toilets clean, camp area with electricity, BBQ and sinks, there's a swimming pool too... Friendly and helpful owners, accept credit card. The only problem was dust, as is a desert camping, there's is dust everywhere!

Report Check-In

Good campsite as previously described. The price is now $150 per person which seems reasonable.

Report Check-In

Good place to rest, silent during thd night. Nice owner Nancy is always ready to help. Bathrooms are really simple but clean. Hot showers. The Internet was slow as in the whole area. Loundry service 75ars per load.

Report Check-In

Excelent camping!! Great facilities and very quiet.

Report Check-In

great campsite, very helpful owners, hot showers and good WiFi, would definitely recommend it! low hanging branches so be careful if you are a big rig

Report Check-In

Feels like a real campground. We parked under some trees. There's two pools, a playground, lots of tables, an indoor area with tables, and bathrooms with showers. There's a mini indoor kitchen where a few rooms are, but we weren't permitted to use it. The WiFi is pretty good, especially in the indoor seating area by the reception. Nancy and her son Lee are very welcoming and friendly. There wasn't music playing as previously mentioned, few people, some friendly pets, and quiet at night. I'm glad we found this place.

Report Check-In

As described below, but *not* quiet at night. The neighborhood dogs were howling all night. Bring your earplugs!
We were charged $100 per person.

Report Check-In

We planned to arrive early and spend the day by the pool and relax but 😱 the music was way TOO LOUD and there was a big party blasting their own music too. Awful experience, zero relaxing. And the bathrooms were just disgusting. The staff is nice but that can’t be all..

Report Check-In

Wow! greeted with a big smile at this perfect campsite. Best so far on our trip to this region.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot, friendly owner, clean safe and quiet!

Report Check-In

Very lovely camping. IMPORTANT!!!Please be aware to access via the main bridge and not over the first river crossing. We got stuck with our pickup amarok. Needed the „bomberos“ to get out. Really dangerous especially when weather is bad.

Report Check-In

As already described, this is really a place to visit or even stay longer. Very recommended!

Report Check-In

A very relaxing place with lots of families coming in for the day to have a barbecue, a swim and relax. Music is controlled by the campground and finishes at 7 pm.
Very quiet at night! A very relaxing place

The owners take good care of the place. They have a cool playground for the kids, shilds that indicate the name of the local trees, a path trough the woods and bbcue areas. Really good place to relax ☺️
