Campground was closed for the season/snow melt but plenty of room to stop for the night outside the gate too. Gorgeous views even on the side of the road. Didn't notice highway noise through the night. No T-Mobile service.

First time here. Stayed 5 nights. Beautiful spot. No services or amenities, pack in/pack out. Dusty, some road noise. No fee.

Report Check-In

Dispersed camping, plenty of sites, many full on a Wednesday night. Overlooks a beautiful meadow! One of the few places allowing dispersed camping near South Lake Tahoe (30 min away)

Report Check-In

Nice, dispersed dry campsites with good sun spots for solar recharges. Good service with Verizon! Quiet other than light road noise. Setting up for a bit while exploring Tahoe!

Report Check-In

It will do when campgrounds are full and you don’t want to pay astronomical amounts of cash to camp. People are not considerate and leave quite a bit of trash along with scars on the trees. 🥴 You can hear Hwy 88 from all sites. But alas it is a place to lay our heads for the night.

Report Check-In

Nice spot with many, many camping areas to choose from. There were a number of people camped here.

Report Check-In

gate is locked due to covid-19, slept outside of gate with a decent amount room between us and the road, would expect area to re-open after covid-19 issues.

Report Check-In

Multiple sites amongst trees. Fire rings at some. Close to highway so some highway noise.

Report Check-In

Full on camp site with no facilities. People park where they can find room. I was at the end by a trail so it was quiet and overlooking a meadow. Good for multiple nights.
