Checked it out. 20’ limit posted on the signs. Our chinook is 22’ and we barely fit into site 1. We didn’t stay for long as the mosquitoes put out the word of our arrival and it was a massacre within minutes. Also, very muggy this time of year. Decent shade from the trees. Creek was nearby but not next to the site. Probably best to visit in the fall. Easy drive to get to. $10 or $5 with access pass. No one else around. Makes sense with the bugs.
Report Check-InSmall. Good for tent or car camping. One vault toilet. Down in a valley so it doesn’t have much scenery and not maintained real well. Toilet wasn’t too bad for what it is. Firewood for sale using honor system. We didn’t stay here because there was no way we’d get our teardrop in a space. We boondocked further up the road, and were glad we did. Much nicer, and we could still drive down to use the toilet at the campground.
Report Check-InDecent little campground for $10. We'd normally boondocks in the woods but came in here so we could empty our cassette toilet. As already mentioned, small spots, good for car campers with tents. Our Dodge truck with camper was a tight fit in #5, wouldn't fit in any of the other sites.
Report Check-Innice spot, but very small sites. 10$ per night. the wasps ate our food and the mosquitoes drank our blood, so bring bug spray.
Report Check-InGreat spot. The road is paved all the way to the campgrounds from boulder. 7 sites total. Rigs I ver 25ft prohibited. Sandy turnaround at the end. One pit toilet.
