All as described. If insisting on heading North to South at this border crossing and requiring TIP, enter Mexico - and head east 150 km to Palomas you can obtain TIP there.

LEAVING MEXICO - this crossing is so quiet, we had to go find the immigration guy to take our FMM back. He was washing his car out the back of the office :-) . Very easy-going crossing, highly recommended over the busier borders. But there is no vehicle TIP office. Don't cross here if you want to hand in your TIP for a refund.

Nice little port of entry into Mexico. They don't have the Office for the vehicle so if you need that, choose a different port.

Since the wall is build, the connection to their computer system is mostly not working. After 2h waiting for the system, they have us the tourist card but we couldn't pay for it cause the connection to the bank was not working.

We should pay, when we leave Mexico.

Vehicle search was very fast, just opend a few boxes. And everyone was friendly.
