This is a lovely campground. Although the spaces are close, it is very quiet. The view of the Tennessee River is beautiful. The campground is in a park in the middle of a city, but even daytime traffic noise it’s muted. We’re almost skipped this place because of its location, but glad we stopped. Senior discount, too!
Report Check-In$25 for RV sites and $14 for tents. They say you have to sleep in a tent at the tent sites as there's no site specific parking. RV sites are very close together. Bathroom and showers are a little run down but work well enough for a decent price in an area without many options.
Report Check-InCamping is closed at least at the moment (3/8/23) but there is at least one gushing drinking water spigot
Report Check-InPrimitive (tent camping) for $14 (that's the price with tax). They will only accept cash or check. Tent spots overlook the river. There are showers in the bath house, but they're the classic "press the button every 15 seconds" variety. Watch your speed. I got caught by the self-appointed campground policewoman deputy doing 7 in a 5 zone.
Report Check-In$14 tent camping, up to $25 for RV. RV spots are squeezed together. Someone wrote that they was confused by the 10pm sign. I used the same park entrance and the park is locked up so no free camping.
