Description

Beautiful views and pure nature in primitive campsite with no amenities. Access through a little side road at your right if you are driving towards Capitol Reef. There is with a number of tent campsites. Vehicles must stay on the road so more appropriate for tents, but if you are in a van or short vehicle, at the beginning of the road on the left there is a campsite that will suit a couple vehicles. It is not so far from the main road but it is very quiet at night. We were here alone and had a very good night.

Hidden Gem, indeed! Great views, gorgeous sunset. Minimal road noise after 8PM. On Spencer Fit Rd, aka BLM 103 according to Google Maps.

Nice convenient spot right off 12. A bit rocky yet we were able to get our Revel level easily enough. Fantastic views to the east. No AT&T signal. No fires per GSENM regulations.

What a hidden gem! The park is lovely, but there's something magical about traveling down roads like this. Finding your own site. Hiking without trails. It's glorious. Lots of spots all down this road for vehicles of various sizes and abilities.

A "wild", not "established" camp. Widely dispersed camping along a dirt road. Please stay on existing roads. thanks
