Large open area by the river north of town. Some small trees for cover. The campground in town was long since closed. The YPF in town has slow wifi.

As described, nice spot next to the river. Locals chill and swim here during the day, good atmosphere. Some cars / campers were coming and going throughout the night, but nobody bothered us and we had a good night sleep.
Report Check-InAs written before, nice spot near the river. Stayed one night, really quiet, bit windy but ok.
Report Check-InSpot parfait en bord de rivière nous sommes arrivés dans l’après midi par une belle journée, beaucoup de monde. Le soir on s’est retrouvé seuls. On recommande
Report Check-InNice place ! We didn't go down with our van (2WD), but stayed just at the corner of the street. Really calm (even a Saturday night), perfect for one night. Bathrooms and potable water at the YPF (and shower I think, but we didn't use it)
Report Check-Innice place to stay a night. a big advantage is that there is mobile internet via claro 4g.
Report Check-Inwindy and next to the river a little bit muddy, but it also there enough space to find a place. if you want to make fire, bring your own wood. we didn't stay.
Report Check-InIt was pretty muddy when we arrived since it had rained most of the day. But it was quiet and you can choose a spot hidden from the road.
Report Check-InWe spent the night here in a spot by the river. We made it down the road to the river in our 2wd without issue. There are many spots to stay with varying degrees of shelter. If you have 4wd there are more options with larger trees. We picked a spot right near the river behind a few small trees. Besides the wind, was a lovely and quiet place to stay.
Report Check-InWe didn't go down the track to riverside as it looked a bit rough for our non 4x4. we camped a few hundred metres west in a wide area at the side of the road (no traffic at all). Beautiful sunset and sunrise
Report Check-InWe stayed in a group of trees about 400 m west of the GPS position. Good location lots of people swimming but they all left close to dark. The municipal camp looks reopened but this campsite was better.
