Peru
the policeman asked us to park our sprinter van here (placita) and told us it is safe here, aswell for staying overnight. the church itself is free, but 10 sols pp for the chapel with bones and skeletons, the leather jesus and catacombs (aswell part of the church). in the municipalidad is the replica of "piedad de michelangelo" from the vatican, paintings, library ec (3sol pp incl. explantions). lampa is a very neat and quiet little town. cheap but tasty food in the restaurants near the plaza. toilets in the municipalidad. 3g internet reception. no tourists except us. we drove from tinajani canon, puya raimondii (r115), than pu-124 via palca here. it is gravel road, max 4600 m nn: 20 km/h.

I stayed a few days at the square of Lampa during Carnaval week. I had great contact with the family living in the corner of the square and In the municipalidad you can take water and go to the toilet. Super nice and safe and no noise at night. Except for the carnaval nights 😅
Report Check-InGreat quiet plaza to park for the night in what looks like a very nice little village. Friendly policemen let us into the municipalidad for toilets even though it was closed. Worth a visit!
