Zimbabwe
You can visit the waterfall here and have a nice swim at the pool.
It is free and one of the " you have to go" places in Simbabwe.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
To get there dont follow Maps.me for the last 4 km, keep going on the main toad (the most used one). 2 rivers to cross. It could be rough to cross on a big rainy day as one is 30 m wide.
Amazing pool and waterfall to swimm in. Very fresh water. Feels like a small paradise. We loved it.
It's technically free to go as there is no gates but it's inside a private property and we think that giving a small donation to the place even if you decide to not sleep there is a good thing to do...
We camped there (at the small parking lot as we have our own toilet) and gave 10USD to the guy in charge. Friendly folks, amazing place to support and a waterfall like that would be at least 10 or 15USD pp to visit in any other place in Zimbabwe...
Short and easy 400M walk to get to the pool.
Perfect picnic spot.
Free as it’s not part of the NP.
Water tap available at the parking area gave us dirty water !
We reached the Outward Bound centre in our 11T MAN truck. The second river crossing was a squeeze between two boulders on the exit ramp. But the informal campsite is stunning and worth the effort/risk. The pools are lovely.
Note: on the road from town you will reach an unmarked fork on the approach to the first river crossing. Take the right hand fork which deviates from T4A track and this will take you across a new river crossing. The other track goes nowhere.
Report Check-InBeautiful waterfall and wonderful natural swimming pools. Camped on the grass field at the Outward Bound centre and paid a small donation. Well worth a visit.
Report Check-InThe Outward bound education centre is a beautiful place. You can camp here for a donation. We paid 10 US$ Family of 4. Ask josphat for a guided tour on the mountain. Of course enjoy Tessa pool and the best drinking water in Zimbabwe.
Report Check-InBeautiful pool for a swim and picnic in the vicinity of an educational outward bound Centre. The waterfall and rock pool are up the valley. A short walk.
Report Check-InMaybe one of the nicest waterfall. I loved it. And the area (education center) and people around are so nice. Perfect place to relax. The pool is also so nice and cristal clear.
