welcome to tusheti!
this is one of the first spot options, beautiful, right by the river. also right next to the road, but that is rather a quiet one (something like one car and three cows per hour on average).
grassy and leveled spots, also good for tents.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
first nice place to camp after the difficult ride over the Abano pass. Clean and cold river. Camp fire pit. Grassy and some places muddy field. But very late sun in the morning - after 10am.
Report Check-InNice campspot next to the road. It can be really dusty from the cars passing. Very slow internet.
Report Check-InThis place is really the first opportunity after the pass to park the car for the night. There is very little traffic here even though I heard a car in the middle of the night. Nice sunrise here.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for a night, probably the best camping site on the route. Still very nice!
Report Check-InStill a good place to camp. Since the camping area is grassy with trees and about 1 to 2m above the river, presumably only the biggest floods reach this area.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! And the Road to and in Tusheti National park is super nice! (4x4 needed)
