A good gravel road goes from Sandlake Road south to a branched system of roads into the forest. After about 2,5 miles is a grassy area on the right with a fireplace. There is space for two small campers. No services & no cellphone service.

Nice quick overnight spot. You can hear the Ocean and at times 101. TMO and ATT with booster.
Report Check-InRipped my GTI up to this spot. The potholes are big but not bad if you don’t rip too fast. Amazing spot as described. I sorted the kindling by width and made a sculpture for the next traveler. @justswartz
Report Check-InGreat spot off a forest road in the Suislaw. Not much traffic, some quads driving by. Space for a few cars and a few tents. Small fire pit. No service but about 10 minutes from it.
Report Check-InGreat spot! Car camped, lots of room and tons of firewood around. Nearby stream had water in mid-June, but may be seasonal. Amazing road - seems regularly maintained. Could definitely get here with a 2wd. Note that this forest is always raining and wet.
Report Check-InBeautiful, quiet, peaceful. At least in the middle of the week. Pretty muddy still from the storms last week, but enough space to pitch a tent. Also running creek about 1/4mi back on the road.
Report Check-InNicely protected campspot by the forest road, almost no traffic, very quiet. Wet and muddy due to constant rain.
