Stayed one night. Free laundry and clean showers. All info below is still correct.
Parked motorhome nose in and had an awesome view of the bay.
Très joli petit camping. 25$ la nuit avec services. Buanderie gratuite très propre. Douches et salles de bain très propres. Wi-Fi très rapide. Je recommande fortement.

Report Check-InDefinitely surpassed expectations. Register and pay at the gas station before parking because they will assign a specific site. Sites with a view of the sea also have sewer hookups; the more basic sites ($22) without a view still have water and electricity. Fresh, level gravel pads and privacy/wind fences between sites. There’s a public viewing platform of the sea. Well maintained washrooms and showers with super hot water. Free laundry (one washer and one dryer). Up the street (beyond the gas station, just after the inn/restaurant) is another public area overlooking the sea that is very well maintained and a lovely spot to hang out. No whales while we were there, but we did see some jellyfish and sea stars in the crystal clear water. Decent cell signal and the wifi was the best we’ve had in Newfoundland.
Report Check-InTown run, larger sites, with fences between the sites. Showers and washrooms clean. You need a code for door entry. Built at the end of the school's playground. Good views. Ele tric and water at the sites.
Report Check-InLovely municipal Rv park. Initially driving by we were not impressed as we prefer more forested camping, and this is more gravel. However some spots look over a bay ( that we later learned whales come into!) and there are privacy fences between each space. Also fire pits. very clean washrooms and free laundry! Water and electric and view 26$/night. Pay at the gas station across the street, which also stocks beer and wine. It also has wood but the gas station at the turnoff on the trans Canada had better quality wood, a big box for 7$.
We woke up to humpbacks in the morning, viewed out the back window of our camper! We also watched minke whales over meals at the restaurant in town. Great hike near campsite. We stayed two nights. Really like this town.
Good spot, small RV park, but would have been happier if I had a spot on the bay. Those spots have sewer hookups too, but there are few of them. Spot I got had no view and no sewer. Thankfully only $22 CAD. Sites are bare but clean and well maintained. Bathrooms and showers likewise are very clean. Quiet spot. Poor WiFi- router wouldn't even let me connect majority of the time. When it did, speeds we're average. Do like that we could walk into town from here, only about a 10 min walk. Saw three whales in bay during evening, including one that jumped out of the water. No joke, whales!
Report Check-InVery nice town run campsite. Beautiful ciew of bay. Very level, nice gravel sites. Clean washroom with separate, heated showers. Very well maintained. Town is adding a laundry to washroom building. Wifi is excellent. No cell seevice. Icebergs in bay and King's Point Icebergs tours takes you further out to a massive iceberg.
Report Check-In8 full hook up sites that were just improved with new gravel and fences between the wide sites. beautiful view of the water from each side. the convenience store across the road was well stocked. wifi wasn't up yet but will likely be working next week as they just opened for the season when we arrived. a great stop.
