a fenced truck and car pension
for one night with a car we paid 30 pesos when we left.
the police recommended this as a safe place. across the road from a pemex so that's where the nearest toilet is

Update. I took the dogs out on a leash and when I walked by the guard shack he checked to see if everything was ok. Very attentive. He asked for $30mx. He had $60 in change for $100 which was fine with me and I gave him a $20 tip. Not the most glamorous site but nice to be safe on the road at night. We slept soundly.
Report Check-InGoogle maps got us close then we managed to find our way to the actual entrance. We were greeted by a friendly man who guided us to a (non flat) spot by the guard shack next to a light presumably so we would feel safe. Not a quiet nor serene spot but good for a night after the spot we had planned on turned out to be closed for the season. Busy city. We’ll be glad to move on. He said to pay on the morning so not sure current rate. He said Pemex across the street is open 24 hours if we want to buy anything.
