Latest Check-Ins

Very dark and very quiet. This is more like a rest stop.

Report Check-In

Arrived late 11:30pm and left early 07:00am no problem at all, dry restroom a bit smelly, but ok.
Not so much noise, other Van there for the night.

Report Check-In

Big parking where you can stand with a beautiful view. It is next to a big road which does make quiet some noice.

Report Check-In

Presents like a rest stop. Overnighted on a Saturday and was only Van. Windy, but recommended

Report Check-In

Not exactly by the highway. I went in further down the road, and there's enough pull outs to spend the night. I was here during the week. Almost no one. It was hard to find a leveled spot. I parked close to the paved road. Barely any traffic. Didn't want to adventure on unknown terrain and get stuck. A good one night stay.
I felt safe.
It's pretty clean.
Lots of atv trails here.

Basically a rest area. Bathrooms! Just stayed one night. Quiet and no one bothered us

Report Check-In

We followed the paved road behind the Information Center until the road that follows the high voltage power lines. We stayed on the power line road, approx 100 yards from the paved road. Friday mid-morning was the first sound of traffic and they were all getting their toys ready. Verizon and AT&T service.

Report Check-In

We stayed there for one night. Nobody bothered us. Park rangers didn’t mind. You can hear the road but is slows down at night.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 1 night while heading from the sierras to the coast. Works for an overnight - definitely a bit windy and some traffic noise from the highway. I would drive in further to the OHV area to find a quieter place if possible (we got in late and just went for the easy option in the parking lot).

Good Verizon service and there are two toilets that should remain open all night that we didnt notice until leaving.

More places behind the visitor center on BLM land in the ATV Area.
