Description

This is a great little beach camping spot down one of the public beach access roads. We only stayed one night. After asking hotels (which dominate most the coast here) for a safe place to park for the night, a couple locals just recommended finding a beach spot not in front of a hotel ... so we did. Most hotels in this area are very spendy and it's also an area where you don't find many locals living on the coast (most have sold their land to gringos) ... so our typical strategy of staying with local families did not work here.

Nice camping spot on the beach. Quiet at night, gets busy during the day. Trash bin.
Beware when parking under the trees. We got stung by some caterpillars. Hurt like hell, but researched about it, it's not poisonous, but still itches a week after. Second night we parked at the far end up the cliff to avoid them.

shady quiet spot frequented by locals coming to swim, fish, or have a beer with friends and tourists passing through on their morning beach walk. Very pleasant locale, abuela still looking for aluminum so we left our beer cans for her ;) Nobody asked us to leave, no signage prohibiting overnight stays. stayed 2 nights. perfect spot, please keep it clean/quiet so others can continue to use it. Good for tents, truck campers, maybe small RV.
