Description

Beach parking / camping with Huayco wave right out front. Rocky beach - watch out for those urchins. Beautiful place to camp. Plenty of flat space. Shade shelter with board racks and fire pits around. Access is gated but the guard will just let you through. Police came by at midnight and told us it was dangerous, but then said it was fine - didn't tell us to leave. Felt safe to us as all access from old Panamericana has a gate and Police were patrolling. Super quiet mid week off season, would be very different in summer.

NOTE: We were told by three separate surfers that this was a dangerous place to camp so we moved to another spot for the night.

Nobody here. No surfcamp. But very relaxing. Waves are here. Its rocky do so not for beginners!

Report Check-In

Great surf spot. Rock bottom with a cobblestone beach. It's a hard peeling left that also has a bit of a right on the odd wave.

We were planning on camping here but we were warned by three separate people in the lineup that this is a dangerous spot. one of the guys said that he always walks there so he doesn't have to park his car at the site. We were told that occasionally during the day people will come by and break your windows while you're out surfing and take your stuff and that this is mostly a problem during the winter.
