Still the same, nothing to suggest this shower is only for the campground. The campsites are far away, so this is a nice option. Shower got less warm once there were multiple showers being used, but otherwise good.

Showers clean and easy to access. Slept in the adjacent parking lot for one night due to being delayed by hwy 4 construction.

very clean warm showers by the boat launch. one is wheelchair accessible.

Free showers next to a beach with some picnic tables. Water was warm but not hot. Two showers in the lady rooms. Perfect spot to spend the morning.

Free hot showers, yes. And toilets and picnic area. Perfect spot, right next to the boat launch, so we tried camping here but we were sent away by the ranger, directing us to the paid campsite next door (Sproat lower campground). “Day use area only”, she said. You could try sneaking in at night but the ranger was doing rounds very often.

Good recommendation! Warm shower and huge picnic area with drinkable water. Unfortunately not shelter we could use for cooking in this rainy day.

We got charged 25$ for the night. The ranger came around 10pm. Apparently the campground uses the parking lot as an overflow when it's full. The lake is amazing though. Pretty clear and warm. Lots of day visitors from Alberni. We stayed two nights.

The shower is amazing. Clean, warm. I'd definitely recommend this place. Too bad they charge for the overflow though...

There is no “No overnight parking” sign in the parking next to the boat launch. We stayed 2 nights there and had no problems. Perfect spot with hot shower, flush toilet and many picnic tables in front of the lake.
