All penguins moved a little bit to the left from the boardwalk and fee area so now you can see all of them for free 😝Absolutely amazing
Report Check-InParking is still free, as well as the clean bathrooms. Nice and relaxed place to see the funny penguins, plus a lot of Dassie rats. You don't have to pay anything if you just want to hang out and walk the sea side. Lots of penguins everywhere and lots of beautiful tide pools !
Report Check-InNice place to see pinguins and some other birds and wild animales. Also ruins of and old oíl whale factory. For free. If you want to visit the whole place, then you have to pay entrance fee.
Report Check-Inwe actually slept there. we arrived at 18.00 there was nobody to ask so we stayed. many pingouins came wandering on the parking at night! we had a quiet night, paying the entrance fee the next morning
Report Check-InA must visit if in the area. The penguins are fun to watch as they hop, swim and even preen themselves and each other. Plus the $ goes to help keep the place operating and these endangered animals alive. Only 2,000 breeding pairs where there once were millions! The decline of these penguins has been 90% since the 90’s. ZAR25 for 2 adults.
