Nice spot to camp next to the river. Pretty quite with a few people fishing in the evening . Space to camp and for vehicles . Water from the river. Good 3g Claro reception (didn't work for us, no data)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
It is near the village so no privacy > trash on the shore and they are smuggling bananas from the finca opposite the river
sorry no good vibes
Nice quite spot, gate was open so we could drive direct to the river. Saw nobody only cows crossing the river. Felt safe and was cool at night.
Report Check-InStayed here for a night because of the roadblock in guabito. Arrived in the dark, but it's a quiet place. We didn't drive further to the river, but stayed in front of the gate.
The gate doesn't seem to be locked at night, so you can probably go further.
People are curious, but friendly. The spot seems popular with locals during the day.
Report Check-InNo fence for us. It is not a private property. Asked locals around, they all said it is ok. Had a great suprisingly cool night. Jump in the clear river in the morning.
Report Check-InThere is now a barbed wire fence across the entrance to the river area. Given that no one was around to ask permission we decided to move on.
Report Check-InQuiet spot near edge of river. May flood, stay back from edge. Walking and truck traffic but only curious stares. Bugs at night. Cooled off nicely at night. Could also continue on main road down to ocean. A few parking spots and a restaurant. (See signs)
