This is one of the best camps we've had in Iran. Close to Tahkt e Sulyman. A wide riverbed with lots of flat space and trees. Locals picnic here. We were here in summer and the temperature droped well below 20 degrees at night. probably flooded in spring. We camped in this spot but there are many spots like it in this valley.
Its quite close to the road but it didn't bother us.

The best place in Iran??? We not really understand this comment. But tastes are different, as is well known. We were a bit disappointed after this post. It was ok for a night, but not more. Place is quite dirty, a lot of sheep shit. The road is loud. The river is ok. For us there are many, many other nice places.

Nobody passt by !
Because of some water in the river, we stood a little bit away from this place. However, the place is visible from the street.
A good alternative is the place further up at the rest area.
wanted to camp here with a campervan but locals turned us down saying that its not safe because people might bother us (ppl like owners of the land, hunters :l) they just said not safe not safe :( we thought it was a perfect place for a quiet night) we returned later and evrything was NORMAL. In the morning other 2 couples from France were there.

Floodbeds are not the best place to camp as flashfloods can occur, even in the dry season
Very nice riverside spot, out of the wind, wood for campfire and a small stream, near the road but quiet at night better than the exposed car park unless you need the toilets
Report Check-InVery nice and flat spot. We were here in spring after heavy rain so there is more water than in summer but not too high. The road is very near and the spot is visible from there, but quiet in the night. The water in the river was too dirty to use it.
